Keep cats from your garden By Dave Duggan I recently learned To protect plants in your garden use orange peels as an effective deterrent. Place orange peel or lemon rind in the borders of your garden. Alternatively spray cloths with orange scented air freshener and place the cloths around the plants you wish to protect. Other known cat repellents are, coffee grounds, pipe tobacco, lavender oil, lemon grass oil, citronella oil, eucalyptus oil and mustard oil. I have only tried the orange peel method and cloths with orange scent and both are effective.
